What's it all about?

Located on a 1600 metre square sheltered block beside the Wynyard Sports Centre close to the centre of Wynyard. Run entirely by volunteers. The garden has been developed along a design created by Fiona Chalk. The latest addition is a frog pong built by Polytechnic students from Burnie under the direction of Phil Tidey. Mick Woodley and his team are rebuilding the garden studio which features local basalt walls.
Rotational garden beds, espaliered fruit trees, and key hole paths are other highlights of the garden. Around 20 people volunteer to assist at the garden. Best time to visit is Monday, Friday and Saturday mornings.
